Polish Manufacturer Deploys Ooitech 60MW Fully Automatic Solar Panel Production Line
A leading Polish photovoltaic manufacturer has officially commissioned a 60MW fully automatic solar panel production line supplied by Ooitech. The project marks another milestone in the expansion of European domestic module manufacturing capacity, supporting the region's push toward energy independence and green transition goals.

Project Highlights
The newly installed line covers the complete module assembly process, from solar cell laser cutting and tabber stringer operations to automatic layup, bussing, EL testing, lamination, framing, and final IV testing. Designed for MBB cell compatibility, the line supports mainstream wafer formats including M10 and G12, giving the Polish client flexibility to serve both residential and utility-scale markets across the EU.
According to on-site engineers, the automation level reaches over 90 percent, reducing labor dependency and improving consistency in module output. Initial production data shows CTM (cell-to-module) ratios meeting design targets, with daily capacity quickly ramping toward nameplate levels.
Market Significance
Europe's solar manufacturing sector has faced mounting pressure from global competition, making localized, high-efficiency production lines increasingly strategic. The Polish facility is expected to supply modules primarily for domestic rooftop and commercial projects, while also exporting to neighboring markets such as Germany, Czech Republic, and the Baltic states.
Industry observers note that turnkey solutions like this 60MW line lower the technical barrier for regional manufacturers entering the PV sector, helping accelerate Europe's renewable energy deployment targets for 2030.
The factory is now in stable operation, with plans for potential capacity expansion reportedly under evaluation.
