Precision Welding Solution for BC Series Solar Cells
The OSLB-1300 is a fully automatic back contact cell welding machine engineered for high-speed, high-precision welding of BC series solar cell strings, including IBC, ABC, and HPBC cell technologies. Developed by Ooitech, this advanced stringer machine achieves a production capacity of ≥1,000 cells per hour with a cell fragmentation rate of ≤0.2%, making it an essential piece of equipment for manufacturers producing next-generation back contact solar panels.


The equipment integrates a complete workflow from cell loading to welded string unloading. The system includes A/B dual cell loading boxes, A/B gluing control systems, a loading translational mechanical arm, cell transmission table, cell flipping system, CCD + four-axis SCARA robot detection and positioning system, ribbon handling mechanism, welding transmission table, infrared temperature-controlled heating system, inline string EL inspection system, and a fully automated unloading mechanism.
How the OSLB-1300 Works
The working principle follows a streamlined automated process:
The loading translational mechanical arm picks solar cells from the cell box and places them on the gluing table for positioning and glue/solder paste application.
The transfer station moves cells to the CCD detection and positioning station, where the industrial camera sends coordinate data to the four-axis SCARA robot.
The robot corrects cell placement with ±0.2mm accuracy and positions cells onto the welding transfer station.
Ribbon clamping claws pull processed ribbons to the welding station while the manipulator lays glued cells onto the welding ribbons. Claws and robot work alternately to complete ribbon and cell placement.
The welding transfer station features multiple independently controlled temperature zones for precise welding control.
Arranged ribbons and cells pass through the infrared heating light box station where controlled heating completes the soldering process.
Welded cell strings are conveyed to the unloading station for EL inspection, then the unloading mechanism places strings into cell string boxes with clean paper separation to prevent scratching.

Machines must be operated by trained personnel after installation and training

If buyer's engineers cannot resolve issues during warranty, Ooitech will dispatch engineers to the buyer's facility (round-trip tickets, local transport, hotel, and food costs borne by buyer)
