The project marked one of the early moves by Kazakh enterprises to build local solar module manufacturing capacity, reducing dependence on imported panels. The production line covered the full module assembly process, including cell tabbing and stringing, layup, lamination, framing, EL testing, and IV testing. Ooitech's engineering team handled equipment design, shipping, on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training to make sure the factory could run smoothly from day one.
