Several of the country's leading module producers — including Goldi Solar, Rayzon Solar, Waaree Energies, Saatvik Green Energy, and Jakson Group — have moved away from conventional laser scribing equipment in favor of non-destructive cell cutting machines.

Traditional laser cutting has long been the standard method for scribing solar cells into half-cut or third-cut pieces.
